PSP 2000 Vs. PSP 1000
Sony's portable gaming system, the PlayStation Portable, has brought several design changes. It saw its initial overhaul involving the 1000 and 2000 models--the console became smaller, faster and competent to perform tasks beyond gaming.
History
The PSP 1000, the first design on the PlayStation Portable, was released in the usa in spring 2005. The 2000 model was launched in 2007 and dubbed PSP Slim and PSP Lite.
Portability
Gamers can more easily play on a busy schedule with the PSP 2000 Housing Case, and that is 33 percent lighter and 19 percent less space-consuming than the 1000. The 2000 added a microphone port and support for Skype communication software.
Disc drive
The PSP 1000 features an ejecting disc drive to hold on to game disks. The PSP 2000's hard drive opens at the back of the console. Gamers slide discs into place.
Added Features
The PSP 2000 Shell Case was included with 64 mb of of internal memory, when compared to 1000's 32 mb. Game data can be stored on the 2000 for faster loading. The newer system added a youtube video-out port making sure that movies, games and music can be viewed over a idiot box.
Availability
Neither the PSP 1000 nor the 2000 come in production. They have been replaced from the PSP 3000 and PSP GO. Gamers still can buy one of several earlier models from some retailers. jklzaeqc 1029
